Session Expires Within Minutes of Idle Time
Symptom: You log into Roket700, step away for coffee, and return to a forced logout. The system demands credentials again even after a short pause.
Root Cause: The Roket700 default session timeout is set to 5 minutes of inactivity. This aggressive timeout protects high-value trading accounts but frustrates users who multitask. Your browser’s cookie settings or a corporate proxy may also truncate session tokens.
Remediation:
1. Open Roket700 in a modern browser (Chrome 120+, Edge 120+, or Firefox 120+). Older browsers mishandle session cookies.
2. Disable any “auto-clear cookies” extension or privacy tool. These tools delete session data on tab close.
3. Log in, then immediately navigate to Account Settings > Session Management. Extend the timeout slider to 30 minutes. Click Save.
4. If the slider is missing, contact your Roket700 account manager to request a custom timeout policy. This requires admin approval.
5. For corporate networks: add *.roket700.com to your browser’s cookie exceptions list. Whitelist the domain in your proxy’s bypass list.
Login Page Fails to Load Entirely
Symptom: The Roket700 login page shows a blank white screen, a spinning wheel, or a “Connection refused” error. No form appears.
Root Cause: Roket700 relies on a WebSocket connection for real-time data. A firewall, VPN, or DNS resolver blocks port 8443 or the domain api.roket700.com. Your ISP may also throttle WebSocket traffic.
Remediation:
1. Test connectivity: open a command prompt and run ping api.roket700.com. If it fails, your DNS is broken. Switch to Google DNS (8.8.8.8) or Cloudflare DNS (1.1.1.1).
2. Disable your VPN. Many VPNs block non-standard ports. Reconnect to a server in the same region as your Roket700 account (US, EU, or Asia).
3. If you must use a VPN, add an exception for *.roket700.com in the VPN client’s split tunneling settings.
4. Clear your browser cache completely. Go to browser settings, clear cached images and files for the last 7 days.
5. Try a different network: use your phone’s mobile hotspot. If the page loads, your home or office firewall is the culprit. Contact your IT team to unblock port 8443.
Two-Factor Authentication Code Never Arrives
Symptom: You enter your password correctly. The Roket700 login prompts for a 2FA code, but the SMS or authenticator app never shows the code.
Root Cause: Your phone number is misconfigured in Roket700, or the authenticator app’s time sync is off by more than 30 seconds. SMS delivery delays also occur during market open hours (9:30 AM ET).
Remediation:
1. If using SMS: wait 90 seconds. Do not request a new code. Multiple requests reset the timer.
2. If using an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy): open the app, tap the Roket700 entry, and check the time remaining. If the code is about to expire, wait for the next one.
3. the app’s time: in Google Authenticator, go to Settings > Time correction for codes > Sync now. In Authy, force-close and reopen the app.
4. If the code still fails: log in using a backup code. You received these when you first enabled 2FA. Find them in your email or password manager.
5. No backup code? Contact Roket700 support immediately. Provide your roket700 email and the last 4 digits of your phone number. They will disable 2FA temporarily.
Password Accepted, Then “Invalid Credentials” Error
Symptom: You type your password carefully. Roket700 shows “Logging in…” for 10 seconds, then returns “Invalid credentials.” Your password is correct.
Root Cause: Roket700 enforces a case-sensitive password with a hidden character limit of 32 characters. Your password manager may paste extra whitespace or a trailing newline. The system also locks accounts after 5 failed attempts in 15 minutes.
Remediation:
1. Type your password manually into a text editor first. Check for trailing spaces or invisible characters. Delete them.
2. Copy the clean password from the editor, then paste it directly into the Roket700 login field. Do not use the browser’s autofill.
3. If you exceed 32 characters, shorten the password. Roket700 truncates anything beyond 32 without warning.
4. Wait 15 minutes after the last failed attempt. The lockout timer resets automatically.
5. Reset your password: click “Forgot password” on the login page. Use a new password that is 12-20 characters, includes one number, one uppercase letter, and one special character. Avoid reusing old passwords.
Login Button Grayed Out or Unresponsive
Symptom: You fill in your username and password. The login button remains gray and does not respond to clicks. No error message appears.
Root Cause: JavaScript is disabled in your browser, or an ad blocker blocks Roket700’s login script. The page also requires a valid SSL certificate—an expired certificate causes the button to stay disabled.
Remediation:
1. Check your browser’s address bar for a padlock icon. If you see “Not secure” or a red warning, the SSL certificate is invalid. Do not proceed. Contact Roket700 support.
2. Temporarily disable all ad blockers and script blockers (uBlock Origin, NoScript, Ghostery). Refresh the login page.
3. Enable JavaScript: in Chrome, go to Settings > Privacy and security > Site Settings > JavaScript > Allow.
4. Clear the browser’s DNS cache: type chrome://net-internals/#dns in the address bar, click “Clear host cache.”
5. Use incognito mode. Extensions do not run in incognito by default. If the button works, an extension is the problem. Disable extensions
